An acknowledgment confirms the identity of the signer that acknowledges they have signed the record.
Jurat notarizations are required for transactions where the signer must attest to the content of the document, such as all affidavits and pleadings in court. It is a certification on an affidavit declaring when, where and before whom it was sworn.
The act of witnessing or attesting a signature is like a jurat, except that it does not require the signer to take an oath or affirmation.
I will travel to homes, hospitals, nursing facilities, businesses, and public meeting places within a 10-mile radius of my home in Sterling Heights. *An additional $10 is applied over 10 miles away.
A lot of documents require two (2) witnesses. Hale Notary Service is able to assist with one (1) witness. Please request this right away so I can schedule properly.
Full Service includes a physical or virtual notary appointment for the document(s) to be authenticated. I will then authenticate the document(s) and facilitate delivery of the authenticated document(s) to wherever the client requests (see Shipping Service). With well-prepared documents, my processing time is between 3 and 5 business days. Shipping times will vary and will be discussed to set expectations. Additional Notary Seals and/or Notary Certificates will incur additional charges.
I will care for and handle sensitive documents that must be delivered to shipping centers or other places of business (example: Secretary of State of Attorney offices).
I will provide shipping at the expense of the client. Cost will be determined at the shipping center and receipt will be provided.
Basic quality printer paper of your document. Covers up to 20 pages. Optional: single page or double sided at no additional cost.
High quality printer paper that is very durable and Rip & Water Resistant. Covers up to 12 pages. Optional: single page or double sided at no additional cost.
I will scan your file(s) into an easy to open PDF and email it you. Document size must be 30 pages or less.
